Announcing the Winner of our #AirHub4Charity Drone Photo Contest

Thank You from our CEO: COVID-19 #AirHub4Charity

On behalf of the entire Airspace Link Team, we’d like to sincerely thank the dront pilots for the hundreds of beautiful drone photos and registered LAANC pilots. Because of your contribution we raised a significant amount that has been donated to the Center for Disaster Philanthropy (CDP) COVID-19 Response Fund.

We would like to congratulate Matthew Majka from MDCM Photography for winning $500 in the “Get Out & Fly Drone Photo Contest” with this amazing photo:

Mental Health is so important for millions of people in isolation, on the front lines, and healthcare workers. Our goal was to bring joy to those isolated at home while showing support to our friends on the front lines. We received amazing drone photos and would like to share some of our favorites.

All proceeds from the competition and registered AirHub for Pilots pledge benefits the CDP COVID-19 Response Fund that is focused on supporting nonprofit organizations working directly to respond to the pandemic among the most vulnerable populations in order to help build their capacity for response. These include social service organizations focused on supporting hourly wage earners, workers in the gig economy, immigrant/New American populations, older adults, people with disabilities, and other communities vulnerable to the physical health, mental health, and economic impacts of the pandemic.

Again, I truly thank you for your participation and support of AirHub4Charity.

Sincerely,

Michael Healander  President & CEO
