Introducing Device Health Monitoring Within AirHub® Portal

A real time health indicator for your airspace awareness sensor network to ensure continuous situational awareness.

As organizations scale their airspace security, maintaining a reliable sensor network becomes a major challenge. Relying on manual checks or discovering a sensor is down only after an incident happens can compromise your entire security posture. You need a centralized way to monitor your hardware so you can distinguish between a quiet airspace and a downed system.

We are introducing Device Health Monitoring within AirHub® Portal to provide immediate visibility into the health of your drone detection network. This tool ensures your team can proactively identify connectivity issues and maintain operational confidence.

How it Works

Located on the Operation’s Center display, this map widget uses a single indicator to reflect your network's health. The icon pulses red if attention is required and remains green when all systems are online.

Key Capabilities
  • Automated Status Logic: Health is determined by the time since the last reported message:

    • Online (Green): Sensor is actively transmitting data.

    • Warning (Yellow): No data received for 12 to 24 hours.

    • Offline (Red): No data for over 24 hours or an explicit error reported.

  • Detailed Diagnostics: The expanded drawer displays the sensor name, vendor, and category (such as ADSB, Radar, Remote ID, or Passive RF).

  • Geographic Centering: Click coordinates to instantly zoom and center the map on a sensor's location for faster troubleshooting. Note: This feature is only available for those sensors reporting their location.

  • Unified Monitoring: A single source of truth for hardware from our growing list of partner vendors.

Why it Matters
  • Reduce Airspace Blind Spots: Knowing your sensors are active is the difference between a quiet airspace and a downed system.

  • Trust the Data: When every second counts, you need to know your detection network is reliable. Real-time health indicators provide the accountability required for critical infrastructure and important events.

  • Be Proactive: Move from reactive troubleshooting to a proactive response. By monitoring warning states in real time, your team can resolve connectivity or hardware issues before they result in a total loss of coverage.

Who it Serves

The Sensor Status Widget is built for Organization users with an Advanced license who have integrated airspace awareness sensors.
