As drone programs scale, managing hardware health across multiple teams becomes a major challenge. Moving away from manual spreadsheets is essential for organizations that need a reliable record of maintenance and inspections for compliance and safety.
We are introducing Aircraft Maintenance Logs within AirHub® Portal to give you a central place to manage the entire lifecycle of your drone hardware. This tool ensures that your team has a clear digital audit trail for every inspection, maintenance event, and hardware modification.
Aircraft Maintenance Logs allow you to link detailed maintenance records directly to your aircraft. You can initiate these logs through two workflows:
Maintenance Tab: Navigate to Manage > Maintenance and click + Log Maintenance. This workflow allows you to manually select any aircraft from your fleet.
Aircraft Detail Drawer: Locate a specific aircraft within Manage > Resources > Aircraft and open the Maintenance tab in the detail drawer. Clicking + Log Maintenance here automatically associates the record with that specific aircraft.

Manage the full lifecycle of your drone hardware using Aircraft Maintainance Logs within AirHub® Portal.
Granular Tracking: Use specific categories for work types like inspections, maintenance, or modifications. You can also select individual parts like propellers or gimbals from the inventory list.
Global Aircraft Status Updates: Changing an aircraft status to Airworthy or Unairworthy within a log updates that status for the entire organization immediately.
Safety Verification: Link existing flight logs to maintenance records to document the success of required test flights after maintenance is completed.
Fast Auditing: Use the filtering engine to find records by date, crew member, or aircraft. You can export everything to a CSV for easy reporting and fleet auditing.
Active Risk Management: Instead of checking old logs, you get a real-time view of which aircraft are ready for an operation and which ones need maintenance.
Better ROI: Tracking maintenance intervals and recurring issues helps you understand the total cost of ownership for your fleet.
Team Confidence: When maintenance and flight crews see the same data, communication improves and safety risks are reduced.
Aircraft Maintenance Logs are built for everyone who operates or maintains a drone. Whether you are an individual pilot tracking your own gear, a Public Safety Official needing proof of airworthiness for a mission, or a Fleet Manager optimizing hardware performance across a large organization, these logs provide the structure needed for safe and efficient operations.
Aircraft Maintenance Logs are already available for AirHub® Portal Starter licenses and above!
