The Detroit Police Department (DPD) swiftly responded, detaining the suspected drone pilot and initiating an investigation that has since been taken over by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Green Day later addressed the incident on social media, stating, "Stadium security had us clear the stage while they dealt with a potential safety issue. DPD quickly resolved the situation, and we were able to continue. Thanks for understanding."
